After 11 months and 1 day living in the USA, 1 rematch, 1 amazing host family, 1 speeding ticket, 5 dates, 1 boyfriend, 1 ex-boyfriend... I AM BACK!!!

Helloooooooooooooooo!!! After a looooong time off from this blog, I am back! And now it is for real! hahaha I am really sorry for ditch all my followers. I became the kind of person that I did not want to. The kind of lazy person that didn't want to post in blogs anymore. :( But, now I feel I have to do it again. :DDD

So, as the title says, I have been here for ELEVEN MONTHS!!! Almost a year. It is impressive how time goes by so fast!!! Well, all I have to say is that I love living here and I do not want to go back to Brazil. :( hahaha I already extended with my current host family for one more year. So, let's see how this new year goes. :)

Well, I got into a rematch with my former host family (dã, of course!). Even though it was really hard for me to handle with 5 kids, I never wanted to leave that house. I LOVED those kids as much as I would love my own children. The problem was that after almost 8 months living with them, the host parents didn't pay for the Au Pair program to the agency. And then the agency took me out of there because they refused to pay it. That is insane, I know. Buuuuuut, whatever. It is in the past now and I don't feel like talking about it anymore. It was the best thing that happened to me.

My current host family is a family of 5: HD, HM, 17yo girl and 12yo twins (boy and girl).
City: Great Falls, VA (20min from the city I used to live).

The only thing I have to say about them is that I finally found what I was looking for. I found the kind of family I was dreaming with when I came up the idea of being an Au Pair. I am really happy and satisfied.

After 5 months living here and 8 days with my drivers license in hands... I got a speeding ticket. :( I know, that sounds terrible, but it could had been worse. haha I got a ticket because I was in 50mph where I was supposed to drive 35mph. And it was with laser gun... so after a few miles there was 4 cops waiting for me and for the others drivers that was driving close to me. So, I wasn't the only one that it was speeding (if this is change something hahahaha). >.<

Since I was in Brazil, I was looking these 2 dating websites: Plenty Of Fish and OkCupid. After 2 months here, I had a date with one guy that I met on Plenty of Fish. It lasted just a month but it was really nice. It was a good start. hahaha After that I started hanging out with a guy that I met in a party once. It took just a month too. Then, I met this other guy from POF. Our relationship was like a roller coaster. It took it 6 months (we just broke up for good). And between breaking up and getting back together, and breaking up again and getting back together, there was these 3 times that I had 3 more dates. But it didn't work out with any of them, because I couldn't forget my ex, so we were always getting back together, until now. I will talk more about each guy later, because there are some really funny stories. hahahaha

Well, I am really excited about giving life to this blog again. I missed it so much. :D I can't wait to share everything with you all. I just have to organize my thoughts and focus in just one thing to talk in each post. hahaha :)

My 1st month here.

Yeah, I know... eu sumi. A vida aqui eh bem corrida e complicada no comeco, que voce nao consegue encontrar tempo e animo para postar o blog, malema tempo pra twitter se tem... imagina algo acima de 144 caracteres. Soo.... Sorry guys! I didn't want to do that.

First of all, eu sei que to devendo muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuito sobre esse mes, tem muita coisa que eu quero contar e que muitos querem saber, mas farei isso semana que vem, quando meu note chegar, pq assim eu coloco as fotos e tals.

Tudo beem com voces?

Ja estou na America (nota-se... estou sem acento hahaha)
O voo ate Detroit foi mega tranquilo, dormi a viagem inteiiiiiiiiira, tinha um japa ao meu lado, mas nem conversamos. haha Ah, e na fila para entrar na sala de embarque encontrei a Gi e a Amarilis, ae quando entramos um americano (que a Gi estava conversando na fila) nos convidou para pagar uma beer pra gente. HAHAHAHAHA saimos do bar meia hora antes pro voo sair e so faltava nos para fecharem a aeronave. HAHAHAHAHAH #miconumero1 hahaha

o segundo voo, foi tranquilo tb, mas teve bastante turbulencia, e no aeroporto foi uma loucura, um corre corre... filas, imigracao, e tal.. mas deu tudo certo no final. estava -8C em detroit, mas nem sentimos tanto frio, pq dentro do aeroporto era quentinho, mas em NYC estava 0C e CONGELAMOS hahahahahahaha quando chegamos la, tinha um tiozinhos com uma plaquinha "AU PAIRS FROM CULTURAL CARE"  nos esperando hahahaha, bem legal. ae viemos pra escola de treinamento... que fica em Long Island, ae arrumamos as coisas nos quartos, tomamos banho, e fomos comer... comida bem natural ate, saladas, lanche natural e frutas. ae fomos procurar um mercado para comprar cartao telefonico. pareciamos 8 jacus na rua e no mercado.. maravilhada com tudo e assustada com as comidas tamanho familia HAHAHAHA mas foi bem divertido e frio. agora estamos aqui na salinha de tv do dormitorio, esperando a reuniao das 6pm comecar. :)
